What happens to my balance with my previous supplier?

If your balance is in credit:

You should get your final bill from your old supplier within six weeks – but it’s usually much quicker. If that account is in credit, they’ll refund the money back to you. 

If your balance is in debt:

We advise you to clear this balance with your previous supplier before switching to UW. Any uncleared debt balances could mean your previous supplier blocks your switch to us and can result in delays.
