I’m abroad and can’t connect to a network, what do I do?
Here are a few tips to help you get connected:
First, try restarting your device.
Check that roaming is enabled both in your UW account and on your phone.
Try a hard reboot. This is when you remove the battery while the phone is still on. Not all handsets (such as iPhones) have removable batteries – if this is the case, try turning the phone off and on again after a couple of minutes.
Try a manual network selection – search for the network manually from your settings on your phone.
If you’re on Budget Control, it's worth checking you've got enough credit on your phone. You can check your balance using the app or in your account.
